What do I need to build a Floatation Tank?
First you need a room minimum 10' by 10' . Preferably quiet with no heavy noise. The room must be
warm enough, 20 to 22 Celsius and waterproof floor around the Tank. Humidity is 100% inside but stays normal outside the tank. No special ventilation. The weight including Epsom salt is around 900 lbs.
You must be handy and enjoy construction and creation or have it build by someone else.
800 lbs of Epsom salt,15 x 25 kg bag MgSO4 u.s.p ($500)
Plywood sheets, 2x3, 2x2 studs. Plastic cardboard sheets
Reflective isolation foil .
Waterbed heater, safety liner, king size mattress, electronic thermostat
Water filtration parts and pump.
Glue, paint, fan, hardware parts and common tools
Of course you will need money ! it can turn around $1000 to $1200 Canadian dollars, including Epsom salt.
